SUPPLIER READINESS PLATFORM

Create a readiness baseline across the full supplier portfolio

The QualityAI Initial Layer keeps supplier profiles, locations, baseline evidence, validity signals, readiness status, and audit history visible before deeper assessment is justified.

THE OPERATING PROBLEM

Large supplier bases need a lightweight first layer, not the same audit depth for everyone

A global supplier portfolio can include manufacturers, service providers, distributors, and sub-tier organizations across many legal entities and locations. Repeating deep audits everywhere consumes scarce expertise, while an unstructured document repository does not show current readiness.

The Initial Layer is the broadest QualityAI product layer. It is designed to cover potentially the full supplier base with a proportionate evidence review: core documents, certificates, questionnaires, missing information, validity and expiry, notifications, and human-approved readiness decisions.

THE QUALITYAI APPROACH

A live baseline for portfolio decisions

Readiness is not a permanent badge. It is a current, evidence-based view that supports follow-up and escalation.

Unified supplier record

Keep supplier identity, contacts, customer context, capabilities, all provided locations, evidence, and audit history connected.

Validity and gaps

Surface missing, unclear, outdated, or expired information and upcoming validity dates for timely human follow-up.

Portfolio prioritization

Direct extended assessment, qualification, and remote audit work toward suppliers that justify deeper attention.

THE INITIAL LAYER

A readiness baseline before deeper audit work

The broadest QualityAI layer is designed for lightweight screening across potentially the full supplier base. It connects profiles, all provided locations, essential documents, readiness status, validity and expiry signals, and audit history. Missing evidence remains a follow-up signal, not an automatic verdict.

WORKFLOW

How the Initial Layer stays useful over time

The baseline changes as documents expire, supplier information evolves, and audit history grows.

  1. 01

    Profile

Create one supplier record with every location provided by the customer.

  2. 02

    Collect

Request essential evidence according to a customer-selected screening template.

  3. 03

    Review

Assess evidence coverage, clarity, validity, expiry, and need for follow-up.

  4. 04

    Escalate

Keep the baseline or open deeper qualification, assessment, or audit work.

STANDARDS-INFORMED PRODUCT DIRECTION

Designed around current audit and responsible-AI principles

Audit and AI governance are increasingly addressing digital methods, remote work, risk, traceability, and human oversight. QualityAI's product direction is informed by principles reflected in ISO 19011:2026, ISO/IEC TS 17012:2024, ISO/IEC 42001:2023, the EU AI Act, and VDA quality-management discussions on controlled AI.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Initial Layer the same as a full supplier audit?

No. It is the lightest and broadest readiness layer. Its purpose is to establish baseline evidence and direct deeper expert work, not to pretend every supplier has completed a full audit.

What are location-aware disruption alerts?

They are a roadmap capability. For every supplier location provided to QualityAI, planned alerts can flag major natural disasters and relevant disruptions for human follow-up. Alerts will not automatically change supplier status.

Can on-site audit results be kept in context?

The product model can retain customer-owned on-site audit records and status alongside supplier readiness and remote audit history. It is not positioned as a full active on-site audit module.
